Optimal Test Plan of Step-Stress Model of Alpha Power Weibull Lifetimes under Progressively Type-II Censored Samples

In this study, the estimation of unknown parameters an alpha power Weibull (APW) distribution using concept optimal strategy for step-stress accelerated life testing (SSALT) is investigated from both classical and Bayesian viewpoints. We used progressive type-II censoring to reduce time costs, we a cumulative exposure model examine impact various stress levels. A log-linear relation between scale parameter APW has been proposed. Maximum likelihood estimators parameters, as well approximation bootstrap confidence intervals (CIs), were calculated. was obtained under symmetric asymmetric loss functions. An test plan created typical operating conditions by minimizing asymptotic variance (AV) percentile life. The simulation study discussed demonstrate model’s optimality. addition, real-world data are evaluated versatility.
